This program was implemented in 2006 to insure local people rights on food security, which according to the Nepalese constitution is the fundamental right of people. The main objective of this project was to facilitate interaction between concerned stakeholders and community members of the East Rapti river basin of Chitwan and Makwanpure districts to understand, analyze and discuss gaps between policy and grassroots for food security with water resources management for agriculture and environment.
