LEADERS Nepal has received several fellowships from the New Energy Foundation Japan (NEF) to study new and renewable energy. NEF is a non-profit organization which operates under the supervision of Ministry of International Trade and Industries (MITI) Japan. NEF conducts activities relating to promotion of new/ renewable energies in Asia besides domestic promotional activities in Japan.
