Between November 2000 and February 2001, with the assistance from IUCN/Nepal, LEADERS completed a, ‘Transport Sector Air Pollution Survey in Nine Major Urban Cities of Nepal: Biratanagar, Janakpur, Birgung, Bharatpur, Butwal, Bhairawa, Nepalgunj, Mahendranagar and Pokhara’.
This research study helped Ministry of Population and Environment (MOPE) to prepare the State of Environment Report on Transport Sector in Nepal.
